Fitness has been the driving influence for Mike McCormick long before his arrival in Jackson in 2013. Growing up in Wisconsin, Mike competed as an alpine ski racer and excelled in football through his college years. After hanging up his cleats and his skis, Mike began to focus on his passion for fitness and competition. He spent the next 10 years coaching ski racers in Wisconsin and British Columbia, Canada.

As an A.C.E. certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Mike takes great pride in watching his clients achieve their goals, commit to a healthy lifestyle and strive to accomplish even more beyond the gym. It is common to hear Mike’s clients comment about his consistent support that goes beyond their training sessions with him. “He is always accessible inside and outside the club; always welcoming questions and feedback. “ As a former athlete, coach and mentor, Mike understands the need for consistent motivation. He delivers on that belief by providing positive feedback, words of encouragement, and providing a “feel good” approach to training.

When there is a free time, Mike enjoys getting in a workout for himself,(he walks the walk) skiing, hiking, and spending time with family especially his 2 amazing children Kate and Gavin. Sarah Adams

Sarah Adams

Sarah grew up in the small town of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and specifically on top of Lookout Mountain. Growing up on and around mountains made falling in love with Jackson instantaneous. Sarah moved to Jackson in the Fall of 2012. She is a certified Body of Arts and Science International (BASI) Pilates instructor. The BASI method is a beautiful combination of both classical and contemporary Pilates. There is a saying in the Pilates world that “there is no ‘fit’ like Pilates Mat fit”… Pilates Mat classes are designed to engage not only the body, but the mind as well. Pilates Mat blends strength and flexibility training while improving posture, and creating a long, lean, and balanced musculature. For Sarah, “Pilates serves as a preventative measure...it provides unparalleled stability, strength, flexibility, focus, and body awareness, all while serving as a ‘reset’ button… The rehabilitation aspect, the extremely adaptive nature, as well as the endless possibilities of Pilates are some of the many reasons [she] loves the method so dearly." Her classes incorporate plenty of core work, as well as strength and stability training and stretching. Sarah is an avid outdoors-woman who loves hiking, fly fishing, skiing, traveling and exploring the back country.
